Lucía has been dancing her whole life. She began studying theatre and ballet at the age of 6 and graduated in Performing Arts with a specialty in musical theatre at 22.
Growing up with Jazz and Blues, Lucía's passion for African-American dances deepened in 2013 when she started studying Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Authentic Jazz, eventually finding her true passion in Blues. From that moment, she started to attend workshops, festivals and teachers trainings across Europe and began teaching and showcasing in Madrid in 2017.
She started teaching Blues internationally in 2019.
During her degree, Lucia trained in various dance styles, including classical and contemporary dance, modern jazz, and multiple couple dances such as Tango, Mambo, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Walzer, Pasodoble or historical dances. She also studied movement and bodily expression techniques, performing in numerous dance and musical theatre productions.
She loves leveraging her theatre background to help students connect with their bodies and emotions through dance.
