Masterclasses
(Friday afternoon & evening | booked separately from main classes)
We introduced Masterclasses 2 years ago for people that want to be challenged in a new way or that only want to have just a few classes and not the full pass.
So far these have been super interesting and your feedback is pure filled with excitement about these... So we’ll keep them going!
Just make sure you get to Athens by Friday early afternoon so you don’t miss them.

Expect a spectacular lineup of our local bands, some talent from abroad (t.b.a.) and a few of the best local and guest DJs!
Competitions
Last year was a blast enjoying the dancing from all the competitors (even though, naturally, we had a few hiccups because it was our first time).
While comps will be back, we want Blues After Hours to focus on learning and social dancing. So we’ll make sure comps are better organized, leaving more time for dancing during the parties!
Extra days
You might have noticed it’s as a 5 day event!
You can still only come on Friday an leave on Monday but you’d be missing out on the:
Thursday night Greek dinner
A delicious add-on to our festival with great Greek food!
Just ask those who were there last year!
Monday cool-down party
An impromptu addition from two years ago is now becoming a tradition!
A relaxed Blues & Balboa party (as it was originally an idea from our local Balboa teachers) on Monday night is the best way to ease back into «reality» after a crazy weekend!
If you can stay an extra night in Athens, it’s definitely worth it!
Venues
We’re sticking to the same venues as we find they cover all our needs and you seem to really enjoy dancing there!
- A beautiful ballroom with ample space for dancing for Fri & Sat night
- Our favorite Blues bar with great atmosphere (and a proper dance floor for extra comfortable dancing)
